What time is the wedding?
The wedding is at 2.30 though you are welcome to arrive from 1pm and have a drink/cocktail
and wander round the garden.
We are also aware that, with the event ending officially at
around 10.30 this can make for a very long day, and also some people work, or
have other things on that day, so if you can’t make the ceremony itself please
don’t feel you can’t come and hang out with us for a few hours later in the
day.
What is the dress code? Dress in what makes you feel special. The wedding colours are the colours of a
crashing wave (turquoise/green/blue) so you could dress to match that, but it’s
also a garden party so dig out your florals! Male bodied humans- Kilts very
welcome (the English love that!)
Bear in mind this is in the garden, and the Argyll weather can be somewhat
inclement so please wear sensible shoes, high heals will sink….
My invite only has my name- can I bring my Partner/kids? Short answer is ‘Yes’ but please let us know for our
catering/alcohol etc planning.
Long answer is- we have put on the invite the people we know
to allow you to come and hang out with family, friends, work colleagues etc. We
know that if you don’t know the couple who are getting married it can be more
of a chore than fun to attend events like this so we wanted to give all our
guests the chance to decide if they wanted to bring others, and an excuse if
they don’t!
Do I need to RSVP?
(LINK?) Yes please! I know we forgot to put it on the invites. Oops.
This gives us a good idea of how many we’re catering to. If you could also put
on the RSVP information if you are bringing kids what age they are, if you have
a dog, and if anyone in your party has allergies/sensitivities etc and any
other information it could be useful for us to know. Thank you
What if its raining?
We have a big Marquee and several tents and gazebos around so we should all be
able to stay dry. If it is looking terrible we have options to get even more
tents to become a tent city- the only thing that will suffer is the intended
fires.
We have spare umbrellas and some lovely ponchos for sudden
downpours!
What if it’s 30’ And MIDGES! It’s Argyll…..
But at the Weather Station there will also be some sunscreen
in case you forget, skin so soft, jungle repellent etc (if you can think of
anything else we should supply here please let us know)
I’m deathly allergic to…… just a heads up! If you have an allergy please let us know on the RSVP. All
food will be labelled. Please remember your EpiPen! There will be a lot of
medics on site to help out if anything happens (any accidents etc- also a first
aid kit will be available)….but they might all be busy dancing/intoxicated.
Do I need to bring anything?
There will be plenty of food and drink for everybody (including Liza’s famous
cocktails) and plenty of drinks and snacks for children. You are welcome to
bring your own favourite tipple aswell. If
you wish to help with anything please contact us- we have so many talented
friends, and lots of them are already helping in so many ways- and we are
always happy for more help!
If you play an instrument – please bring it for the jamming
sessions if you fancy it.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes ,you are welcome to bring your dog but please keep it on a lead in the
garden, we hope to have access to a field that you can run the dog in.
There will be a doggy station with bags, water bowels, and
tick removers…. Please don't let then chase the Haggis
Is there a gift list?
We do not expect presents but we have a selection of ideas here if you feel compelled.

room on site for a few tents, have a look at the where to stay page for more
detailed info Link
Is there Parking?
There is parking in the village a short walk form the house, it will be
signposted- it will be in a field (don’t park in the Kilberry Inn).
